First responders experience traumatic events on a frequent basis. Join us for a weekend of pickleball as we raise money to be able to support our heroes mental health. 100% of the profit raised will go directly to Kosciusko County first responders.
This tournament will be played on 8 outdoor courts with 4 being permanent courts and 4 being temporary courts.
This tournament is sponsored by Diadem. The official pickleball will be the Diadem Power Premier- Yellow.
The tournament divisions will be based upon skill level: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+
This tournament will be round robin with a playoff.
1 game to 11 win by 2 in round robin play
1 game to 15 win by 2 in playoff round
2 timeouts per game
The top four teams in each bracket will advance to the playoff. Top teams selection is based on total wins from round robin games. If a tie-breaker is needed, the head-to-head play will be looked at first followed by total points scored.
Tournament Director may change any aspect of the tournament at any time - format, bracket sizes, length of games, playoff structure, ball, start times, etc.
***The Helping Heroes Pickleball Tournament is a fundraiser first and foremost, with an emphasis on fun, sportsmanship, and community impact.
Please note that tournament scores will not be reported to DUPR by the event. However, players who wish to do so may self-report their matches by following a simple set of instructions. This process is consistent with how previous tournaments have been handled; we are simply being as transparent as possible for all participants.
We appreciate your understanding and participation, and we look forward to a fun, competitive, and meaningful weekend of pickleball as we come together to raise funds and support those who serve our communities every day.***
