Tournament Dates: July 16-19, 2026
Registration Opens: March 1st, 2026 @ 8AM
Registration Closes: July 1st, 2026 @ 12PM
Details are as follows:
- Entry Fee: $110.00/player plus $20 per event
- Juniors: $110/player plus $15 per event BUT you will receive a $60 voucher off your registration fee.
BRACKET FORMATS:
1-3 Teams - Combined with another bracket(s) of the same skill level if possible
4-5 teams - Round Robin 1 game to 15, win by 2, based on circumstances (ex. time)
6+ teams - Traditional double-elimination bracket (matches are best 2/3 to 11 on the “A” side of the draw, win by 2). On the “B” side of the draw, each match will consist of 1 game to 15, win by 2.
- Singles events may have a different format than doubles.
- Age events may be modified, combined or expanded based on registration numbers and in consideration of registered player ages.
- Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each (combined) bracket.
- Tournament Ball will be the outdoor yellow Franklin X40.
This is a PCO Sanctioned tournament hosted by Club 315 in Calgary, AB. All registrants must be members of Pickleball Alberta and Pickleball Canada.
DUPR ratings will be used for this tournament so please ensure you have a DUPR account and that you link it to your Pickleball Tournaments account. You are allowed to play up 1 level higher than your current DUPR. For example, if you have a 3.5 DUPR rating, you may play 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5 and above.
Teams must play at the skill level of the highest rated partner and in the age category of the youngest player. Players are not allowed to play at a lower level than current DUPR Rating.
The 2026 Pickleball Alberta Provincial Championships will be a closed event to all Alberta residents only so as to crown the best-of-the-best players in Alberta at all levels of play. Proof of residency will be required at check in. Any one of these are acceptable documents to prove residency:
- Alberta Birth Certificate
- Valid Alberta Drivers License
- Valid Alberta Health Care Card
- Alberta Identification Card

**The tournament director reserves the right to add, combine, modify, or cancel skill levels/events pending registration numbers. Events can also be rescheduled/cancelled as needed pending outside influences beyond our control.**
