ELIGIBILITY
This is a Pickleball Canada sanctioned major tournament. Registration is open to Manitoba residents and Kenora Pickleball Club members only (verification by Driver's License may be required) in the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 skill levels. Players competing in 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 events must be a Pickleball Canada and a Pickleball Manitoba member in good standing throughout the tournament. Players competing in the Open events must be a Pickleball Canada member in good standing throughout the tournament.
FORMAT
Round Robin in pools - 1 game to 15, win by 2, no cap (pools or events with 6 or more teams will have games to 11, win by 2)
Semi-Finals - 1 game to 15, win by 2, no cap
Bronze Medal Game - 3rd place vs 4th place, best 2 out 3 to 11, win by 2, no cap
Gold Medal Game - 1st place vs 2nd place, best 2 out 3 to 11, win by 2, no cap
(subject to change based on time restraints)
Singles events will be played as Side Out Scoring format.

Skill level brackets – 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, Open (Open will be played as Open - 19+ and Senior Open 50+)
Age brackets - Junior 18 and under, 19+, 35+, 50+, 60+, 70+
Provincial Team Competition (PTC) – National Championships Identification
The Pickleball Manitoba Provincial Championships will serve as an identification event for the Provincial Team Competition (PTC) at the upcoming National Championships.
Winners of the Open (4.5+) skill level brackets will be offered the opportunity to represent Manitoba at the National Championships Provincial Team Competition. Athletes may be selected to compete in the appropriate Open or Senior classifications, as determined by eligibility, age category, and team composition requirements.
Selection and invitation to the Provincial Team will be administered by Pickleball Manitoba in accordance with established team selection guidelines. Acceptance of a team position will require a commitment to represent Manitoba at the National Championships PTC event.
Ratings
This tournament will use the DUPR rating system. Your tournament age is the age you will become in 2026. An older player may play in a younger age group. A younger player may not play in an older age group. The Tournament Director reserves the right to place players in their appropriate skill level category and to combine or alter brackets at their sole discretion.
Medals will be awarded to Gold, Silver and Bronze winners in each combined event.
