WOMENS, MENS AND MIXED DOUBLES EVENTS

Double Elimination Skill/Age You can register 'up 1.0 points' in skill level, if desired. For example, if your UTPR is 3.0, you are eligible to play in the 3.0 skill level event, the 3.5 skill event, or the 4.0 skill event - but NOT the 4.5 skill level event (as that is over 1.0 points). You can register 'down' in age events.

Skill 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0. Age 50+, 60+, 70+ (double elimination)

Skill 4.5 Age 50+ and 65+ (double elimination)

REGISTRATION OPENS

January 5, 2024, 2024 at 12 Noon Arizona Time

Attention Players: When registering make sure you list your cell phone number as we will be using text messages to alert you when you are playing and what court you will be on.

USAPA MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT

You must be a current USAPA member in order to play in this sanctioned tournament.

The UTPR Rating System will be used for this tournament.

Wednesday, February 7, 2024 Mixed Doubles 50+, 60+, 70+, (3.0, 3.5, 4.0) 50+, 65+ (4.5)

Thursday, February 8, 2024 Men's Doubles 50+, 60+, 70+, (3.0, 3.5, 4.0) 50+, 65+ (4.5)

Friday, February 9, 2024 Inclement Weather make up day

Tournament Director reserves the right to divide and/or combine brackets or change the format based on registration.

CHECK IN

Please check in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. Your bracket may start 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. You will be required to show a photo ID at the check-in desk.

If there is an emergency and you will not be able to check-in at your required time, please contact the Tournament Director at 970-739-3905.

PLAYER FEES

Registration Fee - $50.00 (includes referee fee)

Event fee (each event entered) - $10.00

Pickleball Brackets Surcharge (will show on your receipt) - $5.00/event entered

CONFIRMATION

A registration is not considered confirmed until both partners are completely registered and fees are paid. Both partners have until registration closes to sign up, sign waiver, and pay or they will be moved to the wait list.

An event will be considered filled when paid/completed registrations for that event reach established maximums.

Players age is determined as of 12/31/2024

Minimum age of any player shall be 50

Registration starts January 5, 2024 at 12 noon Arizona time

The 50+ and 60+, and 70+ age groups will have 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 skill level events. There will be 50+ and 65+ age groups for the 4.5 skill level events. All will be double elimination.

The tournament director reserves the right to change the format to a round-robin, if there are less than 6 teams registered in any age/skill group.

Cancellation Deadline 01/22/2024

Players withdrawing from the tournament prior to 01/22/2024 (01/21/24 at 12:00 AM) will be subject to a $15 Admin Fee. No refunds given after 01/22/2024.

Inclement weather: We have no control over the weather, should conditions prevent safe play, we may be forced to cancel event(s). Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund registrations due to weather related cancellations of event(s).
