Life Time North Scottsdale is proud to be hosting one of Life Time’s third Pickleball Classic tournaments! Taking place at over 80 locations with thousands of players nationwide, the Life Time Pickleball Classic is an excellent opportunity to put your skills to the test while ultimately having a ton of fun. Our tournament is open to both members and non-members (Public or non member teams signups begin September 25, 2023 3PM)
Players can bring closed container drinks and energy snacks only.
This is a double header tournament Oct 7th and 8th will be a round robin or Double elimination formats to decide 1st and 2nd place teams. 1st and 2nd place teams will advance to Championship Saturday the following Saturday on October 14th in the morning starting 8am - Noon with a Grand Finale match with a best 2 out of 3 format. So bring your guests to come watch you play at this big moment!
Qualifications to enter the tournament
Have a UTPR Pickleball Rating that falls within the range of their Division
Have a DUPR Rating with a minimum of 40 matches recorded(Players who created a DUPR account post June 6th Update) that falls within the range of their Division
Player Requirements
Non Rated DUPR/UTPR Players
Players that have a DUPR Rating with a minimum of 25 matches recorded (Players who created a DUPR account pre June 6th Update) that falls within the range of their Division
Passed the LIFE TIME North Scottsdale Tryout at the level that falls within the range of their Division
October 4 8pm 2023 is the Deadline to register and be qualified otherwise teams on waitlist will move up and replace teams that are not in qualified.
Rating Requirements for all team players on a per bracket basis:
2.5 Level: 2.0-2.99 DUPR (2.5 Bracket)
3.0 Level Non Rated-3.49 DUPR (3.0 Bracket)
3.5 Level Non Rated-3.99 DUPR (3.5 Bracket)
4.0 Level Non Rated-4.49 DUPR (4.0 Bracket)
3.0/3.5/4.0 Players will receive a LifeTime HydroFlask as SWAG.
2.5 Players will receive a complimentary pickleball clinic with Pro Instructor Paul Fragoso as SWAG
Players will be responsible for keeping score, we will have Lifetime tournament staff and volunteers serving as line/kitchen judges primarily but will be able to assist on occasion with scoring etc. Estimated Round Robin duration time start and finish is approximately 2 hrs per division (ex Mixed 2.5)
We may increase the capacity of divisions with waitlisted players should another division not fill
All players that register will have complimentary admission to the Pro Exhibition event on October 14 12pm-4:30. Please search "Life Time North Scottsdale Pro Exhibition Event" in pickleballbrackets.com to sign up for your event.
October 4th players registered in the Fall Classic will automatically be registered to the Pro Exhibition Event and will be sent a message requesting an RSVP confirmation to secure their seat.
