We are so excited to begin the 2nd Beat the Heat 2023 tournament!!

Here is some information you will find helpful

Know the schedule- you can find it on the tournament site in pickleballbrackets.com

Check in at the front desk no later than 30 min prior to the start of your bracket

At check in you will pick up the bracket instructions for your bracket and map of facility. Read it carefully as we will not hold a bracket meeting.

Novice brackets will have a bracket meeting in the area near Gym 5. Please report to that area 15 min before the start of your bracket to receive instructions.

Court monitors will be in each gym to assist you and make sure you have scorecards, answer questions, and return scorecards to the score table.

A text will come in approx. 10 min before match should start so you should head to your court.

Draws will be available Thursday evening on the tournament site

Welcome to our 2nd annual "Beat the Heat Challenge" at North Augusta's Riverview Park Activities Center.

We have several gyms with pickleball court markings and temporary nets to offer a number of bracket opportunities. All gyms are air-conditioned and restrooms/concessions are available.

This year's schedule is:

Mens and Womens doubles 60+ brackets Friday Evening August 18

Mens and womens singles all ages/skills all day Friday August 18

Mens and womens doubles all day Sunday, August 20

Mixed doubles all day Saturday, August 19

Skill levels to include Novice, 3.0,3.5,4.0,4.5

Current updated skill ratings will be used to determine skill levels. Tournament staff will check status as registration proceeds to ensure people are in correct brackets as the next update is not until July 1.

Refunds will be offered until registration closes, and you will be refunded all but $10 to cover fees/expenses. Refunds will not be issued until the completion of the tournament.
