Carmel Classic Withdrawal & Refund Policy
At the Carmel Classic, we understand that circumstances can change. We strive to be fair while ensuring the smooth operation of our tournament.
1. Withdrawal Requests
All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing via email to steve@pickleonpenn.com by the deadlines listed below.
2. Refund Deadlines & Amounts
On or before September 15, 2026 – Full refund of the registration fee minus PickleballBrackets and Stripe processing fees.
September 16, 2026 or later – No refunds will be issued.
Player substitutions are allowed until September 21, 2025.
3. Extenuating Circumstances
In the case of injury, illness, or other unexpected emergencies, participants may request a credit toward a future Carmel Classic or Pickle on Penn event. Supporting documentation may be required. All credit decisions are at the discretion of the tournament director.
4. Tournament Cancellation or Postponement
If the tournament is canceled due to weather, facility issues, or unforeseen circumstances, registered players will receive a full credit toward a future event.
If the tournament is postponed, registrations will automatically transfer to the new date. Players unable to attend may request a credit toward a future event. No cash refunds will be issued.
5. Partner Withdrawals (Doubles Events)
If a registered player’s partner withdraws, the remaining player is responsible for finding a replacement. Refunds will not be issued for individual partner withdrawals.
6. No-Show Policy
Players who fail to show up for their scheduled matches without prior notice will not be eligible for refunds or credits.
