Welcome to the 2nd Annual MID-ATLANTIC SENIOR OPEN at Pickleballerz
***IMPORTANT*** for doubles events: For all doubles events, the registration is not complete until BOTH PLAYERS HAVE REGISTERED SEPARATELY. To do this, each player must have their own player account set up on pickleballbrackets.com BEFORE the players begin the tournament registration process.
***A partner has 48 HOURS to register after their partner has registered. After 48 hours, the team risks being moved to the waitlist.***
If an event is FULL: Make sure to join the waitlist! We may expand events as we get closer to the date!
Based on registration numbers, events may be combined and/or the registration minimum/maximum number of registrants allowed for specific events may be subject to change at any time during the registration process.
EVENT TIMES WILL BE SET APPROXIMATELY FOUR DAYS BEFORE THE START OF EACH EVENT.
Age Divisions: 50-59 years old; 60-69 years old; 70 and above.
Skill Divisions: 3.0; 3.5; 4.0; and 4.5+
Ball: Franklin X-40.
Courts: 6-indoor dedicated pickleball courts, Plexicushion hard courts with net posts in the ground.
Fee: $50 Tournament; $15 per event.
Pickleballtournaments.com charges a separate non-refundable $1.50 service charge for events.

Friday-Men’s Singles and Women’s Doubles
Saturday-Men’s Doubles and Women’s Singles
Sunday-Mixed Doubles
Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes.
Note: To maintain the integrity of each event, the Tournament Director reserves the right to use rating systems including but not limited to DUPR, pickleballtournaments.com, etc as well as a performance at Pickleballerz to withdraw or change a player's registration status.
Format
1. Events with 4 teams: all teams will play each other in a round-robin format playing 2 out of 3 games with games being played to 11 points win by 2.
2. Events with 5 and 6 teams: all teams will play each other for one game to 15 points win by 2. The top 4 teams after pool play will advance to the medal round of play. The top two teams will play for Gold/Silver in a one-game to 15-point win by 2. The teams placing 3rd and 4th after pool play will play one game to 15 points and win by 2 for Bronze.
3. Events with 7 teams: all teams will play each other for one game to 11 points win by 2. The top 4 teams after pool play will advance to the medal round of play. The top two teams will play for Gold/Silver in a one-game to 15-point win by 2. The teams placing 3rd and 4th after pool play will play one game to 15 points and win by 2 for Bronze.
4. Events with 8 teams or more: teams will be divided into two pools. All teams will play each other in their pool for one game to 15 points win by 2. The top 2 teams from each pool will advance to the medal round of play. The top team from Pool A will play the second-place team from Pool B and the top team from Pool B will play the second-place team from Pool A in a one-game to 15 points win by 2. The winning teams will play each other for Gold/Silver in a one-game to 15-point win by 2. The other two teams will play one game to 15 points and win by 2 for Bronze.
