The Bristol Pickleball Club of Rhode Island will be hosting our 2nd Annual Ocean State Pickleball Classic Tournament. This years’ event will be held here in Bristol, Rhode Island at the Roger Williams University's Campus Recreation Center Field House. All money collected after expenses will be donated to the “Alex’s Smile Fund” at Meeting Street. Meeting Street is a local non-profit organization that is a national leader in child development, education, research and training. Meeting Street provides services for over 5,000 children and their families each year. “Alex’s Smile Fund” helped Meeting Street construct its therapeutic pool, which is used every day by students both with and without special needs. Proceeds from last years tournament was close to $1,300 and we hope to double our donation this year due to the larger facility that we will be playing in. Please help us make this event a success and spread the word. We hope to make this event one of our area's premier pickleball tournaments.

This years tournament will be a ROUND ROBIN Tournament / WOMEN's DOUBLES and MEN's DOUBLES format. Each will have three divisions. Non-competitive/recreational (1.0-2.5), Intermediate (3.0 - 3.5) and Advanced Competitive (4.0+). Depending on the number of player registrations, we are planning on having multiple pools per division.

We will have available during the tournament a Certified Athletic Trainer.

*FOOD COURT (The Hawk's Nest located at the RWU Rec Center serves up Seattle's Best coffee, cold drinks, fresh pastries, bagels, fruit smoothies and a selection grab-and-go favorites with plenty of seating.) No outside food will be allowed on the courts. Players will be allowed to have their personal water bottles.
