The 2nd Annual Pickle BaL (Bridge a Life) Tournament is a one-day charity fundraising event to benefit Bridge a Life (BaL). BaL provides impactful support for Foster & Adoptive Families, believing that every child deserves a family and every family deserves support.

Saturday, November 29, 2025 Mixed Doubles Tournament. In addition to this friendly competition, there will be prize drawings, corn hole, and music to make for a fun day! What is better than pickleball? How about pickleball that supports families in Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto communities!

✨EVENTS:

All events for this tournament are MIXED DOUBLES. The format will be a Round Robin and Medal Matches for top teams. Participants will be DUPR Audited at the time of registration. Players who register for a lower event than their DUPR states will be moved up. Players whose DUPR is higher than the event registered will only stay if their reliability scores are low (players need a 60+ reliability score for it to be accurate).

MD 3.0: 2.50-3.49 (Low Intermediate)

MD 3.5: 3.50-3.99 (High Intermediate)

MD 4.0: 4.00-4.49 (Low Advance)

MD 4.5: 4.50+ (High Advance)

SCHEDULE:

The start times for each event will be posted on the pickleballtournaments.com website on Nov 24th.

Events will run in waves with the first event starting at 8:00 am and the last event concluding by 4:45 pm. Because the schedule is based upon the number of registrants, start times for each event cannot be established until after registration closes.

Medal 🥇🥈🥉 ceremony and prize 🎉 drawings will be held after each group event.

** All start times are subject to change and events might be merged or split based on event registration.

REGISTRATION:

REGULAR : $65 plus a $5 processing fee. Includes T-shirt.

LATE (Nov 6- Nov 20): $70 plus $5 processing fee. NO T-shirt.

🎉 With your registration, every participant is entered into a drawing for a prize opportunity. The drawing will be held at the end of each event. You must be present to win.

When registering, the second teammate MUST register within 2 days of the first player. If a teammate does not register within the specified time limit, then the first player will be placed on the Waiting List automatically. Emails will go out to both players when this happens. Once the second teammate registers, they will be moved off the waiting list IF there is still room in the event.

IMPORTANT! Please select the text message option when registering. This is used by the Tournament Director to communicate court assignments during the day of the tournament (it is not shared with 3rd parties).

WAITLIST & EVENT MAX:

If an event reaches the initial player/team limit, please add yourself to the waitlist. Events may be expanded if there is space available in the day. Events that do not max out could be combined to provide the best possible playing experience for all participants. This will be determined at the close of registration.

FINDING A PARTNER:

If you do not have a partner, you can register and select “NEED A PARTNER”. Alternatively, you can search for people who have signed up who need a partner. You will be placed on the waiting list until both parties have been selected and signed up. Please check your Junk mail periodically (sometimes other players who are reaching out to you will end up in your Junk mail).

This is an outdoor tournament. We will make every effort to play events, as scheduled. If weather is a safety issue, we will contact all players via text regarding delays.
