Welcome to the Young Life West Georgia Pickleball Tournament. This is a charity tournament all net proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Young Life West Georgia. The Tournament will be played June 8th and June 9th at Carrollton High School Tennis Courts.

Regular registration cost is $45 and includes two events.

Tournament is Round Robin Format followed by Medal Matches. All teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches. Players will register by skill level.

Competition each day may begin as early as 8:00 AM local time. Specific start times for each event will be posted and emailed to players approximately one week prior to the event.

As registration proceeds, tournament management reserves the option to combine brackets as needed if brackets do not fill. Brackets will be combined by age if possible to avoid combining skills. Tournament management also reserves the right to convert brackets to double elimination if necessary.

Skills levels include 2.5,3.0, 3.5, 4.0, Open

Age groups are 15+, 35+, 50+, 60+, 70+

A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player (or higher) and the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of 12/31/2024.

RATINGS

- Pickleballbrackets ratings will be used.

- For new players with no rating, the PickleballBrackets.com self-rating will be used.

- Players who do not have a PickleballBrackets.com rating but do have an official USAPA UTPR or DUPR ratings should self-rate using their DUPR

-Players with a DUPR rating that is higher than their Pickleballbracket calculated tournament rating may be moved to the higher level at the discretion of the tournament director.

You may register and identify your partner or request "Need partner". Selecting that you "need a partner” allows other players to see that you are available to play in the tournament and available to be contacted by other players looking for a partner. This selection does not mean that tournament personnel will find a partner for you. It is ultimately the players responsibility to find a partner.

There are no referees. Matches are self-monitored. If a referee is requested, we will do our best to provide one.

This is a charity tournament. There are no refunds for any reason including weather cancelation.
