COST: $149 per player This cost covers the tournament expenses to include courts, software and awards. There are no refunds once the event has begun.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION: This is a private invitational event for skill levels 3.5 and above.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 32 total, 16 men & 16 women
Each team must have 2 men and 2 women with a maximum of 4 players total
Subs are allowed and coordinated with the tournament directors.
Ratings will not be affected.
TIME: 1:00pm to 3:30pm or 3:30 - 6pm, specific match times will be posted
LENGTH: 5 weeks total
DATES: Jan 4, 11, 18, 25 & Feb 1st (finals)
RATINGS: 32 Fahrenheit 2025 matches will NOT be factored into your pickleballbrackets.com rating.
MATCHES: Each week, each team plays 2 other teams
Teams will score 1 point for each match win.
In the event of a tie, we will use head-to-head first, and finally total games won not including tie breakers
Each match against another team comprises two sets
Set #1 – Mixed Doubles
Single serve, rally scoring (partners do not switch sides after winning a point)
Partners may switch positions during a timeout or during the side-switch at 8
Games to 15 win by 2
Switch sides at 8
1 timeout per team
Can only win the game on serve
If a team is down by 5 points or more and still has their timeout, they may switch one player from their team
Both mixed pairs on one team will play both mixed pairs on the other team (for a total of 4 games in this set)
If the teams split the games (i.e. each team wins 2 games), a mixed doubles Ice Breaker will determine the set winner
Set #2 – Women’s and Men’s Doubles
Single serve, rally scoring (partners do not switch sides after winning a point)
Partners may switch positions during a timeout or during the side-switch at 8
Games to 15 win by 2
Switch sides at 8
1 timeout per team
Can only win the game on serve
If the teams split the games, a men’s or women’s Ice Breaker will determine the set winner, a coin flip will determine men’s or women’s
Ice Breaker

Game to 9 win by 1
No timeouts
No switching sides
Can only win the game on serve
If the teams split the sets, a doubles Dreambreaker will determine the match winner. Game is played to 21 points.
Teams must win on their serve.
All 4 members of the team play in a 4 point rotation (with an initial 2 point stagger to start) choosing either to play mixed or gender doubles. The 2 teams make the this decision gender pairing independently.
One, one minute timeout allowed per team per game.
Use any fair method to decide first server.
FINALS:
There is 1 point scored for each game won during the regular season. Finals will be seeded match play. 5th-8th place play at 1PM. 1st-4th place play at 3:30 PM.
1PM:
First match: 5th vs 8th, 6th vs 7th
Second match: Winners against winners, losers against losers
3:30 PM
First match: 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd
Second match: Winners against winners, losers against losers
SUBSTITUTIONS: Players are expected to notify tournament organizers well in advance if their team cannot send 2 men and 2 women each week for the appropriate time slot. Players are not to invite their own subs. All best efforts will be made by the organizers to find playing time for stranded players.
