REGULAR REGISTRATION OPENS FOR FPC MEMBERS ON NOVEMBER 27 AT 8:00AM AND CLOSES DECEMBER 9, 2025 – 8:00AM.
OTHER CLUBS MAY BE INVITED TO REGISTER IF ROOM PERMITS.
It’s that time of year again! The beloved FPC Reindeer Games are fast approaching, and we’re shaking things up a bit this season.
First, we’re expanding the tournament to two days: Men’s and Women’s Doubles will run on Saturday, and Mixed Doubles will run on Sunday. Depending on registration, we may still run both events on the same day, as in previous years, but for now we’re planning for a full weekend of play.
Second, we’re opening registrations to players from nearby clubs, such as Oromocto. Registration will open to other club members from December 9 to December 11. This ensures FPC members get the first opportunity to claim their spot in this limited-space FPC tournament. Players must have a valid PCO membership number to register.
Third, we’re hosting the tournament at BackSpin Fredericton, giving the event a fresh and fun new setting.
What hasn’t changed is our love of holiday spirit! We encourage you to come dressed in your favourite festive outfits, and the tournament committee will award the top three holiday-themed partnerships. Please make sure your accessories don’t interfere with play for you or your opponents.
As always, the Reindeer Games support a great cause. This event raises funds for a local food bank. Get ready for a fantastic weekend of pickleball, holiday cheer, and giving back!

Fee:
One event: $40 (plus a $7.00 Pickleball Brackets service fee).
Two events: $40 + $10 = $50 (plus a $14.00 Pickleball Brackets service fee).

Registration is considered complete when both players are registered and payment has been received. If payment is not made within 5 days, you will be moved to the waitlist.

COURTS: 6 courts
DUPR ratings will be updated with results of this tournament.
BRACKETS: The Brackets will depend on the number of registrants, changes may be made to either the skills bracket or age brackets, this will only be done to manage registration numbers and time allocation.
There must be at least four teams registered in a bracket for that bracket to run.
We will start with the following for Men & Women’s Doubles, and Mixed :
SKILL LEVELS:
- 3.00 and under (this includes players with skill rating 2.00 to 3.49)
- 3.50 to 3.99
- 4.00 plus
AGE LEVELS:
- Any
- 55 and under
- 56 and above
COMPETITION SCHEDULE:

PLAYERS MUST CHECK DETAILS THE DAY BEFORE THEY PLAY AS START TIMES MAY CHANGE.
FORMAT: (THIS MAY CHANGE IF REGISTRATION IS NOT FULL, POTENTIALLY ALLOWING FOR MORE TEAMS TO MOVE TO PLAYOFFS)
- Round Robin games to 11 win by at least 1 - three games guaranteed.
- The top four teams advance to play-offs. (If there are two pools the top two teams in each pool advance)
- Pre-medal Game is single elimination.
- Pre-medal games are to 15 win by at least 1.
- All medal games are to 15 win by at least 2

TEAMS:
- Maximum of 8-10 teams per bracket.
- A minimum of 4 teams per bracket or pool, guaranteeing a minimum of three games per team.
- Waitlist available for additional players.
ADJUSTMENTS:
- Organizing committee reserves the right to modify brackets based on registration numbers.
PAYMENTS:
