You do not need an official rating to register however please make sure your skill level is correct in your pickleball.com profile. Results are automatically sent to DUPR so if you are not yet rated, this is a great opportunity to get a rating! PLAYERS:
Please arrive in plenty of time to get signed in, warm up, etc. We require Tennis shoes - white soles only please. Pickleball requires a paddle and a ball. Please bring your own equipment. Stay Hydrated- Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Rules will be available to view if needed.
Just a reminder that the Hibbing College Foundation requires approval at sign-up that acknowledges the inherent risks of playing pickleball, such as injuries, accidents, and property loss. ABOVE ALL- Sportsmanship and respect. All games/matches start times are pending weather and previous play ETC. Start times also depend on final numbers and bracket sizes. Please sign up knowing that your times could change. We will do our best to have the final schedule completed a week before the tournament and allow for individuals playing in multiple brackets.

Hi Everyone,We are incredibly excited to welcome you to the upcoming tournament! To ensure matches move quickly and everyone gets maximum playing time, we are using the PickleballTournaments.com automated text notification and digital scoring system.
Because we are running a streamlined event, you (the players) will be reporting your own scores directly from your phones.Please read these instructions carefully before arriving at the courts:
📱 1. Ensure Your Phone is Ready: Make sure your mobile phone number is accurate in your PickleballTournaments.com profile. Keep your phone charged and with you in your gear bag—this is how you will find out when and where you are playing.
🎾 2. Receiving Your Match Text: When your bracket is active and a court opens up, both teams will instantly receive a text message. The text will say something like: "Court 4: Smith/Jones vs. Miller/Davis. Click here to enter score: [Link]"When you get this text, head directly to your assigned court and begin your 5-minute warm-up immediately.
📝 3. Entering the Score (The Winning Team’s Job) Rule: The WINNING team is responsible for entering the score immediately after the match ends.Step 1: Open the text message you received at the start of the match and click the link. Step 2: Type in the final scores for both teams carefully.Step 3: Double-check that the correct winners are selected, then hit Submit.
⚠️ 4. Rules & Troubleshooting: Check Before You Submit: If you enter the score backward by mistake, it locks the bracket and delays the whole tournament. Please verify the numbers before pressing submit! Disputes: If an incorrect score is accidentally submitted, do not argue on the court. Come directly to the Director’s Desk together, and I will manually override and fix it in the master console.
Keep Moving: Once your score is submitted, the system instantly assigns that court to the next match. Please clear the court promptly so the next group can begin.
