What does it mean to be registered?

* Player in a singles amateur event has registered and paid their tournament fees

* Player in a doubles amateur event; both players have registered and both players have paid their tournament fees

You or your team could be moved to the waitlist: (see the following items)

* If your partner (doubles) has not registered/paid

* Contract to play is between players and it is their responsibility to comply with the tournament

requirements to participate as stated above - player responsibility

PARTNER REPLACEMENT POLICY:

Any registered player losing a partner must replace that partner with an already registered player after registration is closed. The replacement must be in the same skill/age group that you are scheduled to play. Players can play down in age and up in skill. Replacements need to be known and communicated to Robin at rgweaver56@gmail.com by 5pm the day before you are scheduled to play. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list.

Format

Double Elimination

Main Draw: 2 out of 3 games to 11 win by 2.

Back Draw: 1 game to 15 win by 2.

4 - 5 teams in a bracket, the format goes to a single round robin format: 2 out of 3 games to 11 win by 2.

If there are 3 or less teams in a bracket, the brackets will be combined with the closest age brackets within the same skill level.

Bronze Medal Matches 1-15 win by 2.

All scores will be reported to UPTR, we do not report scores to DUPR.

September 13, 2024- CANCELLATION DEADLINE:

There will be a non-refundable $5 per event service fee if a team withdraws before the CANCELLATION DEADLINE ABOVE. NO REFUNDS after cancellation deadline unless the Registration & Weather Insurance Policy has been purchased.

Thank you to everyone who adjusted the day with us as we are working our way through this heat wave. Just for final clarification on the text that went out to everyone this afternoon about starting the brackets an hour earlier. Every bracket is now starting one hour earlier Saturday, Sunday and Monday. If you have a set time to start at 8:00am, you now start at 7:00am. If you had a 11:00am start time, you now start at 10:00am, etc. Every bracket that was set when the welcome letter went out is now starting one hour earlier each day.
