Brackets will be double elimination and/or round robin brackets, depending on total number of teams in brackets. Double elimination winners bracket matches will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2. Lower bracket matches will be one game to 15, win by 2. 6 teams or less brackets will play a round robin format; games to 15, win by 2 points. Brackets with 4 teams or less will play a double round robin.

Early registration fee is $35.00, which includes all events and ends 11/30/2024. Beginning 12/01/2024 registration goes up to $40.00. An additional $5 service fee will be added by Pickleball Brackets if you sign up for only one event. A $10 service fee will be added by Pickleball Brackets if you sign up for two or more events. The service fee will be reflected on your receipt.

Format and bracket combination may change as needed based on the tournament director.

This year we are partnering with a Local Charity yet to be determined. We will have a silent auction and other activities to help us meet our goals.

Thursday January 9, 2025 - Men's and Women's Skinny Singles

Friday January 10, 2025 - Men’s Doubles 50-59, Men's Doubles 60-69 and Women's Doubles 70+

Saturday January 11, 2025 - Mixed Doubles

Sunday January 12, 2025 - Women's Doubles 50-59, Women's Doubles 60-69 and Men's Doubles 70+

NOTE: Our Skinny Singles games will be played on half the court only. You will be playing against your opponent on the half of the court directly in front of you. There will be no cross court play.

Note: Competitive brackets are considered 3.5+. Recreational brackets are 3.0 and below. If you entered the Recreational bracket last year and won Gold, you must register in the Competitive Bracket this year or you will be moved up by the tournament director.

Water and Various Snacks will be provided to registered players by FNS Pickleball Club. Other drinks and food will be available for purchase throughout the tournament. Food trucks will be on site throughout the tournament.

We will have a Kick-off Party for our pickleball participants. On Thursday January 9, 2025 from 6:30-8-30.

FNS Pickleball Club is excited to announce that our 4th Annual Sharon Jefkins Memorial Pickleball Tournament Kick-Off Party will be held at Parry’s Pizzeria and Taphouse in Brownsville, Texas. If you signed up to attend, please join us for a fun time at a fun venue. Snacks/Pizza and 1 free drink of your choosing will be provided by our club.

Any additional purchases you make, please be sure to mention you are with the FNS Pickleball Club and 20% of your tab will be donated back to our club and will be given to the San Benito Food Bank.
