On August 12th and 13th, 2023, Pickleball Hamilton is bringing back the Steel Town Showdown! Half of the proceeds will go to support Neighbour2Neighbour, our local food bank!

This is an outdoor event taking place in Hamilton at Hill Park (305 South Bend Road E.). We will use the Franklin X-40 ball.

Registration: $50 CAD Registration Per Player + $10 per event. Maximum of 2 events.

*Event shirts available for $25 at checkout.

Tax receipt will be issued to each registration for $25.

Events: Tournament directors reserve the right to combine brackets and change format depending on registration and time allotment on the day of the tournament. Tournament directors reserve the right to place players in their appropriate skill level category. Minimum number of teams to run the event is four. Tournament directors have the right to adjust the number.

Registration Info: Although you register online, your registration is not complete until you mark your registration complete, and your payment has been received.

You have until June 30th, 2023 to find a partner, otherwise you will be moved to the waiting list.

Online Tournament registration is required, no paper forms.

Your registration is not complete the until waiver is electronically signed and fees are paid. Each player must complete their registration online.

Use PayPal, it's safe and easy. PayPal account not necessary. PayPal accepts most credit cards.

In the case of wait lists, teams will take priority over individuals. Our goal is to accommodate as many people as the schedule will allow - but at the same time have a well-rounded tournament with representation from all skill levels.

Partners will not be sought or assigned by the tournament, you will have to select your own partner. Players needing a partner will be shown on this website by event.

Schedule: Registration/Check-in will be open at 7:00 AM. Games start at 8:00 AM and may finish late in the evening. Official schedule to be released prior to tournament.

If the tournament is rained out, there will be NO refunds. If the event is rained out, 50% of the proceeds will go directly to Neighbour2Neighbour.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made after registration closes (August 1 - 11:59 PM) are non-refundable.

Exceptions to the Refund Policy:

​*If there are not enough teams to form a division, Tournament Directors reserve the right to merge and/or cancel a division due to lack of entries.

Entry fees may be transferred to a replacement player at any time up through the morning of the event.
