We’re excited to welcome you to the 574 Summer Sizzler at Central Park in Mishawaka Indiana! With 8 dedicated outdoor courts, shaded seating, and a beautiful park setting, this two-day event on August 23–24, 2025, offers a great atmosphere for both competitive and social pickleball players.

This event proudly supports Fluff Monster Rescue, a local nonprofit dedicated to saving and rehoming neglected and abandoned animals in Northern Indiana. A portion of each registration goes directly to helping Fluff Monster continue their mission of compassion and care.

We’re also excited to be sponsored by Hop Station Craft Beer Bar, a locally owned Mishawaka favorite recently voted Best Pizza in the 574. Known for their elite craft beer lineup and community support, Hop Station is the perfect place to celebrate after your matches!

Women's and men's divisions include 3.0 and Under, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+, and an Open Division. Mixed divisions include 2.5 and Under, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+, and an Open Division. Mixed also includes 60+ divisions for each level except for Open. Each division will initially cap at 8 teams, but divisions may expand based on registration demand and court availability. All scores will be submitted to DUPR for official rating updates.

The Open Division is a designated prize money division. Cash payouts will be awarded to the top finishers, with the total prize pool based on the number of teams entered. 80% will be awarded to first place, and 20% to second place.

Check-in opens 30 minutes before your division’s start time. Exact play times and final brackets will be announced the week of the tournament after registration closes.

Round robin format to determine playoff seeding

Divisions with 8 or more teams will be split into pools for round robin play

Top 8 teams will advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket

Round robin games are played to 11, win by 2

Playoff rounds are best 2-of-3 games, each game to 11, win by 2

All teams guaranteed at least 5 games

Event Fees: $10 per standard event, $60 for Open Division event

Divisions capped at 8 teams, with potential to expand if registration demand allows

Players must bring their own paddles

Snacks, water, and first aid available on-site

Open Division prize pool: $125 added per team; prize reaches $1,000 if 8 teams are entered

The tournament director reserves the right to adjust or combine brackets if there are not enough teams in a division. This includes adjusting brackets based on DUPR reliability, and combined team DUPR rating.

If time and registration numbers allow, divisions may be split into age groups for more balanced play

Registering without a partner? You’ll have 7 days to confirm a partner before being moved to the waitlist

Refunds will be provided up until the registration close date, minus the Pickleball Tournaments and Stripe service fees.

Each open division will have $125 dollars added to its prize pool for each team that is signed up. Gold medalists will receive 80% of the prize money, with silver medalists receiving 20%.

There is no inside alternate location due to weather, or scheduled make up day.
