Maryland Senior Olympics Pickleball Tournament

Thursday, May 18 - men's doubles and women's singles

Friday, May 19 - mixed doubles

Saturday, May 20 - women's doubles and men's singles

Your age is what you will be on 12/31/23.

Division I: 3.5 & above

Division II: 3.0 & below

Round Robin Pool Play (divisions / age groups may be combined for play, placement will still be within each division and age group). Tournament Director has the right to make changes to format, adjust age brackets, or other items if needed.

The fee is $50 which includes one event, each additional is $5. You will also pay the pickleball brackets administrative fee of $5, $10 for more than one event.

This is a non-qualifying year; competition at the state level only, you are not competing to qualify for the National Senior Games.

Registration:

• From March 22-April 4, pickleball registration is open for Maryland residents only;

• Starting April 5, pickleball registration is open for everyone ages 50 and above, starting at 8 a.m.;

• MSO pickleball registration closes April 27 at 8 a.m., or when capacity is reached;

• Anyone not linked to a partner within 20 days of registering will automatically be moved to the waiting list.

This is not a qualifying year!

Registration for all other MSO events is separate and will open April 18, link through our website.

Refunds (less a $15 processing fee) must be requested in writing no later than two weeks prior to your first event. No refunds will be issued after that date. In the event of rescheduling, the Maryland Senior Olympics Commission will maintain a flexible policy on refunds if you cannot participate on the rescheduled date.

For outdoor events held on Thursday and Saturday, if weather prevents us from holding these events, they will be added to the indoor sessions at the end of that day (time permitting). All remaining events played that day (indoor and outdoor) will have their scoring adjusted to one game to 11 win by 1 for all matches, except for the Gold and Bronze matches which will be one game to 11 win by 2.
