San Antonio Showcase at Fairchild is a MLP-style team event with 2 females and 2 males playing on the same team!

In the MLP-style team event, matches are composed of four 21-point games, with the first being women’s doubles, then men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. Each game is worth 1 point and the whole match is a best of 4.

The twist: in the event of a tie, the tie breaker game will be MIXED Doubles with the OPPOSITE partner you played with in the match. The game is played to 21 points with both teams switching every 4 points.

Rally scoring: a point is earned after every rally, whether it was won by the serving or receiving team. Games are to 21 points, win by 2, with a cap at 25 points.

All teams will play Saturday and Sunday!

*Top half of teams advance to Championship qualifiers on Sunday.

*Bottom half of teams will play a consolidation draw on Sunday.

ONLY THE TEAM CAPTAIN WILL COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FOR HIS/HER TEAM.

*Players needing a team can register individually in the 'Looking for a Partner or Team' event.

Players without a full team will be allowed to register for the event and be paired with other players looking for a team. When registering, look for the "NEED A PARTNER" event based on gender.

In the event of rain or cancellation due to weather, players will be eligible for a partial refund. This will be at the discretion of the tournament director and will be communicated to all players post tournament once fees and expenses have been paid out. Players should expect a 40-70% refund.
