The heat’s no match for the hottest competition under the stars! Join us for our first-ever After Dark Duos Tournament at Life Time Kingwood. With 21 beautiful outdoor courts and a backdrop of moonlight, this nighttime showdown is designed to beat the Texas heat and bring the community together for an exciting new spin on tournament play.

This unique format uses combined DUPR brackets—so you and your partner’s total DUPR must fall within your chosen level (5.5, 6.5, 7.5, or 8.5). Whether you're teaming up with a friend, sibling, or someone from a different skill level, this format makes room for creative pairings and competitive fun.

CONCEPT

Each bracket is based on a maximum combined DUPR for your team (2 players).

-Mixed Doubles: Friday, August 22 – 6:00 PM

-Gender Doubles: Saturday, August 23 – 6:00 PM

Available DUPR divisions: 5.5 • 6.5 • 7.5 • 8.5

FORMAT

Pool play followed by single-elimination bracket

4-match minimum per team

Gold medal match = Best of 3 games

RATINGS

-Tournament brackets use DUPR to ensure fair matchups

-Players must remain UNDER the max allowed DUPR

-All players must have an established DUPR

-Tournament director reserves the right to adjust bracket placements if needed

-Scores will be uploaded to DUPR

No refunds will be given for withdrawals made after August 13th, including cases where players are moved due to incorrect bracket registration.

🏆 Prize Payout Details

We’re excited to announce that 35% of all registration fees will be paid out to the 1st place team in each division. A minimum of 8 teams is required in a division for prize money to be awarded. Payouts are based on the total number of registered teams. Divisions with fewer than 8 teams may be combined or adjusted at the tournament director’s discretion.
