INDOOR TOURNAMENT - AIR CONDITIONED - 10 TENNIS HARDCOURT COURTS - INDIVIDUAL FENCING PERMANENT NETS AND 6 HARDWOOD COURTS - PORTABLE NETS
Registration fee is $40. Each event will cost $10.
No membership in any association is required for registration.
Non-Sanctioned tournament.
Events will be: Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
Brackets will be separated by age and then skill. You may play DOWN in age or UP in skill at your discretion. Be sure to register for your desired skill/age bracket. If you do not know what skill level to register for, please seek the advice of experienced players and/or the Tournament Director.
Planned Age Divisions: Each skill level will be separated into 5 year age splits. Final brackets will be determined based on the number of registrants in each age split, but at a minimum will be 50+ and 65+. Brackets generally would need to have a minimum of 3 teams or they will be combined with similar skill levels. Some brackets may be combined due to number of registrations at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
Planned Skill Divisions: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+
Brackets/Events will be round robin. Events with 8 or more teams may have pool play. Players are guaranteed 3 matches per event. More play for your money. MEDALS AWARDED FOR EACH AGE/SKILL GROUP. ALL EVENT BRACKET DETAILS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATION. PLEASE REVIEW ONCE EVENTS HAVE BEEN VERIFIED.

Sunday - July 21, 2024
9:00am - Mixed Doubles
Check-in begins each day at 8:00am
Player's meeting at 8:40am
Play begins promptly at 9:00am
MATCH FORMAT:
All brackets will be round robin play, allows more play for all teams.
3 team brackets - double round robin, 4 matches of 2/3 to 11, win by 2
4 team brackets - round robin, 3 matches of 2/3 to 11, win by 2
5 team brackets - round robin, 4 matches of 2/3 to 11, win by 2
6 and 7 team brackets - round robin, 5 or 6 matches of 1 to 15, win by 2
8 or more team brackets will use pool play round robin 2/3 to 11, win by 2 and then an elimination bracket with the top 2 teams (depending on the number of pools) advancing with then a single elimination bracket.
TOURNAMENT OPERATIONS:
Players will be responsible for keeping score, calling lines and reporting the match results to the court monitor.
Medals will be presented as soon after a bracket is completed as possible.
Medals will be awarded for each age/skill group within a bracket.
