Hey Ottawa… yep, you heard us! The APA Capital Cup is returning this summer to the nation’s capital, bringing back the ultimate player experience whether you’re an amateur or a pro. This year’s event will serve as the APA Mid-Season Finale, powered by The Forge Pickleball Club.
We are excited to be RETURNING this summer to the Capital City of Canada. We will be playing at The Forge Pickleball Club, a *NEW* PREMIER state-of-the-art Facility with 10 spacious 32X60 dedicated fenced indoor courts with professional nets and surface. We will have an 11th 35X60 Championship Court to bring an UNBELIEVABLE player EXPERIENCE like none other! This amazing club has a bar, pro shop, mezzanine, locker rooms and showers for you to refuel in-between matches and divisions!
Come take a road trip/vacation this summer to Ottawa, where when you're not playing you can explore the city and check out all the HISTORY of Canada and visit the FAMOUS Parliament Building.
After a successful FIRST half of the year, the NEW rebranded APA Canadian Circuit is set to host a Mid-Season Finale, bringing together the TOP amateur and pro players from both Ontario and Quebec to compete in the ultimate showdown! Mark your calendars — this is going to be the PARTY of the century!
We’re hosting the ultimate Pickleball Party in partnership with The Forge Pickleball Club on Friday, July 24th! We’ll have food, drinks, a live DJ, and the PARTY of a LIFETIME!
This will be a skill/age tournament with 16+, 35+, 50+, 60+, and 70+ age categories played at 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, OPEN/SENIOR/PRO skill levels. You can play up to 5 events. Tournament directors reserve the rights to combine brackets & change format based on registration numbers. The registration fee will be $70, $15 Per Event/$70 Per OPEN Event. Your spot is not guaranteed in your event until both partners are registered and paid in full. You and your partner both have 5 days to register before being put onto the wait-list. Maximum 8 teams per division except the OPEN/PRO TBD. Spots will fill up quickly, so sign up TODAY!
5.0/SENIOR/OPEN Divisions will be $35 Per event with CASH PRIZES $$$ for the WINNING team.
Thursday July 23rd we will be offering SPLIT AGE events Men's/Women's/Mixed. The levels offered are 3.5/4.0/4.5/PRO. In these events if you are OVER/UNDER Age of 50, you will EITHER have to play with someone Age 50 & OVER, or Age 49 & UNDER. You will be allowed to play in 2 events on this day, one gender doubles and one mix doubles.
Singles will be played Wednesday July 22nd. We have age/levels for all participants. PRO singles will be played on Friday July 24th.
All participants of the APA Canadian Circuit MUST have a DUPR account to participate. We will be submitting scores to DUPR. Please create an account on DUPR, if you don't already have one - https://dashboard.dupr.com/signup
Tournament director reserves the right to move teams playing up too far if he feels they won't be competitive. We will be using the DUPR/PickleballBrackets Self rating system. Please make sure you play in the RIGHT skill level, we will be monitoring this. Please note that the PRO events are for OPEN level athletes. Wednesday July 22 2026 - Men's/Women's Singles 3.0 3.5 4.0 4.5 - AGE 19+/35+/50+/60+
Thursday July 23 2026 - Men's/Mix/Women's Doubles Split Age - 3.5/4.0/4.5/PRO - AGE 50+/49-
Friday July 24 2026 - Men's/Women's 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, SR OPEN- AGE 50+/60+/70+ - Men's/Women's Singles PRO
Saturday July 25 2026 - Mixed Doubles 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, PRO - AGE 19+/35+/50+/60+/70+
Sunday July 26 2026 - Men's/Women's 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, PRO - AGE 19+/35+
This event will follow USAPA rules with all medal matches refereed. We will try to ref other games when possible.
The 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 5.0 categories will be pool round robins and the top teams in each pool will advance to a playoff round to determine medal winners. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. (Games played to 15, Bronze medal match played to 15, Gold medal round best 2 out of 3 to 11) Games can be up to 11 with a guaranteed minimum of 5 games. All games will be win by 2. PRO/OPEN Division will be a double elimination format with a minimum of 5 teams.
