<b>Welcome to the 2nd annual Armstrong Blizzard Bash!</b>
<i>If the event you are registering for is full, please waitlist yourself. The tournament directors will make every effort to get as many teams into the tournament as possible, including adding in additional age splits where possible.</i>
<i>The Armstrong Blizzard Bash</i> will take place on December 11-13, 2026 at Hassen Memorial Arena in Armstrong, BC.
The tournament will take place on December 11-13, 2026, at the Hassen Memorial Arena in Armstrong, BC. Part of the proceeds from this tournament will go towards funding future youth pickleball and other sports programs and camps in Armstrong. Please ensure you review all the tournament details prior to registration.
Registration opens on <span style="background-color: #FFFF00">October 24, 2026 at 8:00 AM PDT.</span> Registration closes on November 27, 2026 at 8:00 PM PDT. Early bird entry fees are $65.00 for the first event plus $20.00 per additional event. General pricing of $70.00 is in effect as of October 31st. Payment is processed through Stripe. Players can register for one gendered event and one mixed doubles event.
Tournament play begins at 8:00 AM PDT. Players will not be allowed onto the courts prior to 7:30 AM PDT. Division start times will be announced after registration depending on numbers.
<b>Friday, December 11, 2026</b>
-Men’s and Women’s Doubles (age 50 and above) - 3.0 and 3.5 ONLY
-The Soft Tournament Experience:
If traditional tournaments make you feel anxious or overwhelmed, this event is designed just for you. This soft tournament co-ed option is perfect for players in the 2.0, 2.5, or early 3.0 brackets who want to enjoy friendly competition in a calm, supportive, and low-pressure environment.
What to Expect:
•A quiet, relaxed setting — no loud hustle or bustle.
•Gentle pacing to help you move comfortably through your matches.
•A sensory-soft experience for players who appreciate a calmer atmosphere.
•The chance to earn a medal while enjoying your first tournament in a truly positive space.

-Men's and Women's Doubles (any age)
-MLP Team Event:
•Enter with a team of 4 (2 women and 2 men)
•Combined DUPR score between 12.0 and 15.0
•Teams will compete in gendered doubles, mixed doubles, and a singles dream breaker
•Teams must register together, $200 per team
<b>Sunday, December 13, 2026</b>
-Mixed Doubles (any age and age 50 and above)
Division start times will be announced based on registration volume to ensure competitive and enjoyable play.
<b>Skill levels will follow DUPR ratings at the time of registration. Players may play up in skill level (0.5 difference). Players cannot play down a level. For example, a 3.5-rated player can play in the 4.0 division, but a 3.49-rated player would not be able to play in the 4.0 division.</b>
Age eligibility is based on December 31, 2026. The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust formats, combine divisions, or modify start times based on registration. The Tournament Director also reserves the right to combine or split age brackets as needed.
Registration is through Pickleball Tournaments, and both partners must have accounts. Once one partner registers, the second partner must complete their registration within 2 days. If neither partner has registered and paid within that window, the team will be moved to the waitlist.
Spectators are welcome but must not interfere with gameplay. Spectators must remain in the bleachers or around the outside of the arena.
