The True North Pickleball Tour is excited to be back at Painswick Park in Barrie, Ontario! This is a fantastic outdoor venue.
A portion of the proceeds for this event will be donated to the Barrie Pickleball Club.
This is Pickleball Canada sanctioned event (pending). You must have a Pickleball Canada membership to enter this tournament. Please make sure your Pickleball Canada member number is entered into your pickleballtournaments.com profile. If you are not currently a member you can go to pickleballcanada.org to sign up.
This tournament will use the DUPR rating.
This will be a skill/age event with 16+, 35+, 50+ and 65+played at 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and open events. Gender doubles will be September 27, mixed doubles September 28.
This is an outdoor event and subject to the whims of nature. All efforts will be made to safely complete events. In the event your event is canceled you will receive a 50% refund of your event fee. If you are unable to compete in any other events you will also receive a 50% refund of your registration fee.
Open events with 6 or more teams will be played as a double elimination with prize money. All other events will be played as round robin/pools feeding into a single elimination medal round with bronze medal game.
Your spot is not guaranteed till both players have registered and paid (must be done individually).
We will be refereeing as many matches as possible.
The Franklin X40, the official ball of the True North Pickleball Tour will be used.
Tournament director reserves the right to combine events as necessary. Events may start as late as 5 pm.
