Masters Open – Tournament Details

Registration & Fees

Early Registration (through March 1): $30

Regular Registration: $40

Standard Event Fees: $20 per event

Open Bracket Event Fees: $65 per event

💰 Prize Money – Open Brackets

Minimum guaranteed prize pools per Open Doubles event:

Men’s Doubles: $1,500

Women’s Doubles: $1,000

Mixed Doubles: $1,000

Singles Prize Pool: $500

Prize pools grow with additional registrations and sponsors — the more players who sign up, the bigger the payouts!

Friday, April 10: All Singles Brackets

Saturday, April 11: Men’s & Women’s Doubles

Sunday, April 12: All Mixed Doubles Brackets

Tournament Format

Pool Play

Brackets will be divided into pools of 4, 5, or 6 teams based on registrations.

Round robin play within each pool.

Minimum of 3 games guaranteed per team.

Games played to 11 or 15, win by 2 (based on pool size).

Playoff Advancement

Top teams from each pool advance to the playoff bracket.

The number of teams advancing is determined by overall bracket size and number of pools.

Teams not advancing will still complete their 3-game guarantee.

Playoff advancement formats may be adjusted as needed to ensure competitive balance.

Playoffs

If time allows, the following format will be used (subject to change):

Semifinals: 1 game to 15, win by 2

Gold & Bronze Medal Matches: Best 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2

📋 Minimum of 4 teams required to complete a bracket.

🔄 Brackets may be merged if minimums are not met.

🔥 Compete for glory, earn DUPR ratings, and win cash prizes in the Open Brackets at the Bash Masters Open.

Equipment (Paddles):

All paddles must be approved by either:

UPA-A (United Pickleball Association of America – Approved)

USA Pickleball Approved Equipment Program

Approved list: https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/

Players are responsible for ensuring their paddle appears on one of the approved lists at the time of competition.

Rules of Play:

All matches will be governed by the official USA Pickleball Tournament Rules currently in effect.

Tournament Director Authority:

The Tournament Director has full authority over all tournament matters, including but not limited to rules interpretations, scheduling, bracket formats, match conduct, and dispute resolution. All decisions are final.

Format & Schedule Adjustments:

Bash Pickleball Club reserves the right to modify formats, scoring, schedules, or brackets as necessary due to registration numbers, time constraints, or court availability.

Player Conduct:

Unsportsmanlike conduct — including verbal abuse, excessive profanity, or disruptive behavior — may result in warnings, point penalties, match forfeiture, or disqualification, at the Tournament Director’s discretion.

Line Calls:

Players are responsible for making their own line calls. In cases of uncertainty, the call should be made in favor of the opponent.

Safety & Liability:

Players participate at their own risk and must follow all facility rules and safety guidelines. Bash Pickleball Club is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost or stolen property.

DUPR Reporting:

Where applicable, match results will be reported to DUPR.

Rule Acknowledgment:

By registering, all players acknowledge they have read, understand, and agree to comply with these tournament rules and the decisions of the Tournament Director.

Refund Policy

Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Players who withdraw on or before March 1, 2026 will be charged a $15 withdrawal fee.

No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made after March 1, 2026, for any reason.

Approved refunds for eligible withdrawals will be processed approximately 10 days after the tournament concludes.

All refunds are issued only to the original form of payment minus applicable fees.
