COST

All divisions are $35 to enter (open brackets may differ). This price includes the Pickleball Brackets processing fee of $5.

EQUIPMENT

Franklin X-40 will be played in all events 4.0 and under. 4.5 and above will use the Dura Fast 40.

FORMAT

This is a double elimination tournament. Winner’s bracket matches play best of three games to 11 points, win by 2. Consolation bracket matches play one game to 15 points, win by 2.

Two timeouts may be taken per team per game. The duration of the timeout is one minute.

All matches within a bracket will be chosen at random (including first round byes if applicable).

Brackets may be combined, separated, or altered at the tournament director’s discretion.

There will be one referee present, but players should expect their matches to be self-officiated.

AWARDS

Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each bracket.

RULES AND SANCTIONED DESIGNATION

To the best of our ability, this tournament adheres to USAPA rules unless otherwise specified. This is a non-sanctioned event.

All requests for refunds made before 6/15/23 at 11:59 PM will be given a full refund of the entry fees minus a $7 (per event) processing fee. This same policy applies if an event is cancelled due to weather.

The open divisions are the only events with a cash prize. Assuming a bracket has 16 teams, the payout will be the following:

First place: $500

Second place: $300

Third place: $150

If less than 16 teams, payout will be reduced proportionally. If more, payout will increase to a maximum of $1500 per event split amongst the top 3 teams.
