THE BATTLE OF THE DECADES!
Pickleball is often described as a multi-generational sport and so in the spirit of that, we are going inter-generational with this all Split Age tournament! Join us in Pickleball Paradise for a Battle for the Ages as we Celebrate the Decades! Come dressed-up and represent your favorite decade(s) and participate in a uniform/costume contest! And most importantly, have fun playing pickleball!

This tournament will be held at the premier Performance Pickleball RVA indoor pickleball facility in Henrico, VA. All Skill Divisions will be Split Age in Men's and Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles in addition to Parent & Junior/Youth Divisions in Men's and Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

Matches will take place on 12 state-of-the-art dedicated indoor pickleball courts. Medals will be awarded to the Top 3 teams in each bracket.

Age Divisions:
All Divisions will be Split Age Under 50 & Over 50

Skill Divisions:
3.0 And Under, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5

Saturday 10/4:
Men's & Women's Split Age Doubles
Parent & Junior/Youth Men's & Women's Doubles

Sunday 10/5:
Mixed Split Age Doubles
Parent & Junior/Youth Mixed Doubles

The registration fee is $45 per player and includes one event. Event fees are $15 for each additional event. No additional event fees for the Parent & Junior/Youth Division. There is also a PB/PT non-refundable service fee of $5 per event or a maximum of $10 when registering for 2 or more events.

For doubles events, priority will be given to teams that have both partners registered. Teams with only one partner registered and teams with no designated partner will be waitlisted. To secure your spot in a doubles bracket, please make sure that both you and your partner are registered.

This is a non-sanctioned tournament, but we will be following USAP 2025 rules.

All brackets will be Round Robin with a Single Elimination bracket round and/or Medal matches to be played immediately following the completion of Round Robin play.

Round Robin matches will be either best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2 or 1 game to 15 win by 2 or 1 game to 11 win by 2 depending on the size of the bracket and/or pools. Gold Medal matches will be best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2. Bronze Medal matches will be best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2 or 1 game to 15 win by 2.

In the spirit of this Split Age tournament, we are introducing the Parent & Junior/Youth Division! Parents, sign up and play with your junior or youth in Men's, Women's & Mixed Doubles Divisions!

The participation age for juniors and youths is 10 to 15; for any ages under 10, please contact us for approval. No age limits for the parents. If there are enough sign-ups, we may be able to split the division further into different skill groups. No additional event fees for the Parent & Junior/Youth Division.

The rating used for this tournament will be DUPR; however, match scores and results will NOT be reported to DUPR.

Skill divisions may be combined at the discretion of the Tournament Director to create brackets as needed based on the number of registered teams. The Tournament Director also reserves the right to adjust the bracket and match formats as necessary.

THE CANCELLATION DEADLINE IS SUNDAY 9/21/25. Full refunds less the PB/PT non-refundable service fees will be given through this date. After this date, there will be no refunds for cancellations or withdrawals. For any extenuating circumstances or situations, please contact the Tournament Director for approval.

The tournament will be held indoors at Performance Pickleball RVA and will go on, rain, shine or leaves! We will keep everyone posted in case of any inclement or severe weather.
