Pickleball in the NC mountains where summer temperatures rarely reach 80 degrees! This, the 8th year of Battle on Beech, adds a 60+ skill level divisions for Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles.

The list of scheduled events:

* Thursday, August 15: Men's & Women's Doubles age 60+; 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+

* Friday, August 16: Men's Doubles (open) 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+

* Saturday, August 17: Mixed Doubles (open) 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+

* Sunday, August 18: Women's Doubles (open) 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+

Fees: $45 Registration and $10 per event entered.

THE FIRST DAY OF REGISTRATION (FRIDAY, MAY 24) IS RESTRICTED FOR BEECH MOUNTAIN CLUB MEMBERS ONLY. NON-CLUB MEMBERS MAY BEGIN REGISTERING ON SATURDAY, MAY 25.

This is a round-robin format tournament with games to 15 (win by 2). Each division will have a maximum of 8 teams. Medals will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners in each division.

The Beech Mountain Club Pickleball Center has a cafe/food truck adjacent to the Center that provides a selection of hot and cold food items as well as beverages for purchase.

Cancellation deadline is July 25, 2024. No refunds will be provided after that date for any reason. Cancellations made before July 25 will be provided a refund, less a $10 processing fee.

This is an all-outdoor tournament. There are no refunds for weather related cancellations. We will do our very best to complete all events. Tournament directors reserve the right to change format, shorten games, or make other changes they feel will help complete the event.
