BCPC Fall Fury Tournament @ Bergen County Pickleball Club in Tenafly, NJ will be an exciting, fun and competitive event, scheduled between October 18th 2024 and October 20th 2024. The tournament will take place at the brand new dedicated pickleball indoor and outdoor courts in Bergen County Pickleball Club, Tenafly, NJ. This will be a very fun event in Bergen County this Fall.

Friday October 18th Afternoon (starting 3pm) - Men's and Women's Singles (Event times updated in pickle ball brackets website).

Saturday October 19th Evening : Men's Doubles 4.5+ Open starting @ 6.00 pm @ BCPC Indoor facility - Winning team receives $300 and Runners Up $150 if min 10 teams signup.

Women's Doubles 4.5+ Open starting @ 12.00 pm @ BCPC Indoor facility - Winning team receives $200 and Runners Up $100 if min 8 teams signup.

Mixed Doubles 4.5+ Open starting @ 3.00 pm @ Winning team receives $250 and Runners Up $125 if min 8 teams signup.

Men' Singles Open event winner receives $125 and runner receives $100 if min 8 players signup.

Women's Singles Open event winner receives $100 and runner receives $75 if min 5 players signup.

Sunday October 20th : Mixed doubles, Men's and Women's doubles for levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.0+ will be held in BCPC Indoor and Outdoor facility in Tenafly, NJ. Max a player can play two events on Sunday October 30th and this time Mixed events will start first and finish before the Gender doubles event begins.

Early bird registration is only $50 if registered before Oct 1st 2024 , which includes medals for the winners.

Gender doubles event - $20/player, Mixed doubles events - $25/player and Men's Open 4.5+ ($$$ Event)

$35/Player and women's/Mixed open ($$$ Event)- $35/player.

Men's and Women's singles 4.0 and below $20/player & Men's and Women's Singles Open ($$$ Event) - $30/Player.

Tournament Format and Rules:

Please carefully read this important information in its entirety. All 2024 USA Pickleball Rules Apply

For key points of the 2024 USA Pickleball rules read the documents @ https://usapickleball.org/what-is-pickleball/official-rules/. However, as a player, you are responsible for being familiar with the rules in their entirety.

The tournament is designed to provide a fair and competitive environment for all participants, adhering to a structured format and set of rules.

General Guidelines:

Round Robin Format: All tournament events will follow a round robin format.

Events:

Division Merging: Divisions with one to three teams may be merged with another division at our discretion. We will ensure not to mix different skill levels and will avoid proceeding with a draw if there are fewer than four entrants, unless absolutely necessary.

Pool Play: During Round Robin pool play, matches will be a single game to either 15 or 11 points depending on pool size, with a requirement to win by 2 points. The target score will be determined based on the bracket.

Playoffs and Medal Rounds: These stages will maintain the Round Robin format, featuring a single game to 15 points, also requiring a win by 2 points.

Skill Level and Age Brackets:

Participants must compete at the skill level of the higher-rated player or above. Unrated players may be moved to a higher bracket if deemed appropriate by the organizers. In age-based brackets, the bracket is determined by the age of the younger partner.

Please note, the split-age open will be conducted as a round robin with a non-cash prize.

TD Authority:

The Tournament Director (TD) and Committee reserve the right to modify the format of any bracket, division, or level as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the event. They also have the authority to change any rules or policies as needed. This adaptability is essential for responding to unforeseen circumstances and for enhancing the tournament experience for all participants.

Pickleball bracket fees and Stripe fees are non-refundable for all withdrawals.

Full refunds (excluding the stripe and pickleball bracket service) offered until Aug 30th 2024.

Any withdrawals between September 1st 2024 and September 30th 2024 will be charged a withdrawal fee of $10 + (Pickleball Bracket Service fee and Stripe fee).

50% refund offered from October 1st, 2024 until Oct 12th 2024 (1 week before the tournament) .

There will be no refunds for any withdrawals after October 12th, 2024.

In the event of inclement weather, we will do our best to play the matches while prioritizing the safety of the players, We will try to move all the games to indoor courts owned by BCPC. If any brackets does not start due to rain, we will refund 80% of the fee paid towards the tourney (please not pickleball bracket fees and stripe fee are non-refundable they are deducted at point of sale).
