Life Time Missouri City is proud to host the Beginner Bash — a pickleball tournament created specifically for new and developing players. Whether you’ve just learned the basics or are still building confidence, this event is all about giving you a fun, supportive place to play, compete, and grow.
This isn’t an intimidating, high-level tournament — it’s a welcoming environment where beginners can experience real match play, meet other players at a similar level, and put their skills into action. Expect friendly competition, lots of encouragement, and a great community vibe.
And yes — there are prizes.
Winners will take home JOOLA Gen 4 paddles, making it even more exciting for those just starting their pickleball journey.
Who Can Play?
Open to both members and non-members
Designed for beginners and developing players
Players must fall within the designated DUPR range
Even if you’re not brand new, this is perfect if you’re still improving
All match results will be recorded on DUPR
Tournament Format
Pool play to get you started (no one is out early!)
Followed by a single-elimination bracket
Guaranteed at least 4 matches per player/team
Extra Opportunity
If your DUPR rating qualifies, you may even be able to play in both divisions — more games, more experience, more fun.
