Berwick Retirement Communities and the University of Victoria are pleased to partner with VRPA for the second annual Women's Tournament.

This beginner-friendly, entry-level and more tournament will take place on Saturday, April 12, at UVic's CARSA gym. This year, we are expanding to include intermediate and advanced categories!

Registration for VRPA members opens February 28th at 7pm

Non-VRPA members can register March 1st at noon.

$50 registration fee

Skill divisions will be:

Women's Doubles 2.5 , 59 and under

Women's Doubles 2.5, 60 and above

Women's Doubles 3.0, 15 to 52

Women's Doubles 3.0, 53 to 59

Women's Doubles 3.0, 60 to 62

Women's Doubles 3.0, 63 and above

Women's Doubles 3.5, age 59 and below

Women's Doubles 3.5, age 60 and above

Women's Doubles 4.0, age 49 and below

Women's Doubles 4.0, age 50 and above

Women’s Doubles 4.5 and above

Register with a partner (though the option will be available to register as "needing a partner", and allowing people to contact you.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine divisions or create additional divisions as required, depending on registrations. Our goal is to provide the most competitive and fun divisions as possible. You may choose to play in the lower age category if you wish, but please know that age divisions will be equally created after registration has opened.

Tournament Director reserves the right to change start times and format based on registrations. Tournament director reserves the right to move players to the appropriate skill divisions.

All results will be uploaded to DUPR.

Please make sure to enable text message notifications under your pickleballtournaments.com account, as this is the method to notify you of your next match!

Tournament format will be round robin, with top teams in each pool proceeding to playoffs.

Minimum 4 games per event are guaranteed.

Tournament ball will be Franklin X-40 -yellow (please avoid a ball-coloured shirt).

All paddles must be on the USAPA approved list. It is the player's responsibility to check the list which can be found here: https://pickleballcanada.org/tournaments/approved-paddles-and-balls/

Tournament Director reserves the right to refuse entry to any player.

*NOTE - PickleballBrackets.com has implemented a new service fee of $5USD/event to a maximum of $10USD. This fee does not go to the Tournament Organizers and is not refundable in any circumstances. This is outside of the Tournament Director's control.

Withdrawal deadline is April 3. No refunds will be given after that date. Withdrawals prior to that date are subject to a $5 USD administration fee. No refunds will be issued until after the completion of the tournament.

Your spot is not guaranteed in your event until both partners are registered and paid in full. Both partners on the team have five days to register and pay or you will be moved to the waiting list.
