July 20 & 21, 2024

EVENTS:

Categories: Mixed Doubles, Gender Doubles, Coed for 2.5 Skill Level

Skill Levels: 2.5 (Coed), 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+

Age Groups: Any Age, 60+

FORMAT:

Round Robin with Medal Rounds.

Round Robin in Pools (1 game to 11, win by 2, no cap)

Semi-Final: 1 game to 15, win by 2, no cap

Bronze Medal Games: 1 game to 15, win by 2, no cap

Gold Medal Games: Best 2 of 3 (game to 11, win by 2, no cap)

COST:

Registration is $35, plus $10 per additional event.

Payment can be made by E-transfer or Paypal

If using Paypal, your receipt will show payment to Sharon MacDonald, our club president.

REGISTRATION:

Registration opens on May 5, 2024 at 8 a.m. and closes on July 8, 2024, at 8 p.m.

Registration is through Pickleball Brackets where you must have established a profile.

Must be a Pickleball Canada Member.

A pair's status in the tournament is not verified until the 2nd partner registers. Failure of the

2nd partner to register within three (3) days of the 1st player registering may jeopardize the

status of the pair.

SCHEDULE:

Events will start at 8:30 a.m.

COURTS:

6 Outdoor surfaces

ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER AN EVENT

Age: An older player may play in a younger age group. A younger player may not play in an

older age group

Skill Level: The skill level of players is determined by their data in their Pickleball Brackets'

profile. Players may play at a higher skill level but cannot play at a lower level.

DISCRETION:

The Tournament Director reserves the right to add, combine, modify or cancel skill levels/events pending registration numbers and may change start times if needed.

OFFICIATING:

Some final matches may be officiated.

Join us in Quesnel for the 48th Annual Billy Barker Days Festival from July 18th to July 21st, 2024.

There are many different events taking place over the four days throughout the city.

WASHROOMS:

Washrooms are located near the pickleball/tennis courts. There are no shower facilities.

SPECTATORS:

Spectators are welcome although seating is not available or very minimal. Please bring your own chair.

CAMPING:

New campground approximately 1 km from the pickleball courts at West Fraser Timber Park.

Players who withdraw prior to tournament by July 8th will receive a refund less a $10 administration fee.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

We will make every effort to play all scheduled matches.

This is an outdoor event where inclement weather can be a possibility.

In case of rain, the schedule may be modified, cancelled or postponed to ensure the safety of players.

In case of cancellation, refunds will be issued less the administration fee of $10.
