We regret that the Blazer Open on 7/12 - 7/13 has been postponed due to facility issues. We are having to move the tournament to a future date. We are happy to refund your fee or apply it to our event later this winter.

An email will be sent to all current registrants when new dates/venue are finalized.

This is a fundraiser tournament for the UAB Blazer Baseball team. Play will take place in the historic Bartow Arena and with the goal of creating the most competitive and fun tournament in the area. No need to worry about summer time heat or afternoon thunderstorms as play will take place indoors.

PRIZE MONEY TO ALL SKILL LEVELS!!

* Concessions will be available through the day for participants and spectators. Awards for top finishers as well as participation gifts.

* Free parking will be available in parking lots and street side off of 13th street adjacent to the arena.

I Live video of matches will be shown on video boards in area.

This is an indoor fundraiser tournament. Refunds will not be provided because of inclement weather. Refunds for withdrawals will only be given before the cancellation date of Friday 6/20/2025. Player registrations are not transferable. If a substitute player is needed for your partner, the substitute will need to pay the full tournament fees.

ALL amateur skill level events (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+) will award prize money to the top 3 teams! Actual amounts may vary depending on the number of registrants. The projected amounts are 1st - $220, 2nd - $160, and 3rd - $120.

The prize money is not just for the top level skills or an Open division. It is for all skill levels. We will divide the skill levels into 2 age brackets, generally <50 and 50+ but will adjust as necessary depending on the ages of the registrants.
