Hosted at the new Pickleball Village in Katy:

<li>10 dedicated and individually fenced indoor courts for competitive play, including 5 cushioned courts! </li>
<li>Pro shop, snacks, and drinks available for purchase on site.</li>
<li>Lounge area and party room.</li>

<h3 style="background-color:blue; color:white; padding:8px; border-radius:6px;"><strong>SCHEDULE</strong></h3>

<li>Events will kick off around 8:00 AM and continue until approximately 7:00 PM or until finished.</li>
<li>Friday 5/1 will have Men's Doubles ages 50+, 60+, and 70+, Women's Doubles ages 50+, 60+, and 70+, Men's Singles, and Women's Singles.</li>
<li>Saturday 5/2 will have Men's Doubles 15+ & 35+ and Women's Doubles 15+ & 35+.</li>
<li>Sunday 5/3 will have Mixed Doubles 15+, 35+, 50+, 60+, and 70+.</li>
<li>Round robin games with side out scoring into bracket play.</li>
<li>Quick transitions between games keep the action moving - be ready to play when your match is called!</li>
<li>Ensure you have text alerts enabled in your pickleball brackets account.</li>
</ul>
<h3 style="background-color:blue; color:white; padding:8px; border-radius:6px;"><strong>CHECK-IN</strong></h3>

Players must check in at the tournament desk <strong>30 minutes before their event</strong> begins. Late check-ins may result in withdrawal from the event.

<h3 style="background-color:blue; color:white; padding:8px; border-radius:6px;"><strong>REFEREES</strong></h3>
<p style="margin-top:10px;">
Players will call their own lines and keep score. Tournament staff will be available to assist with rules as needed. The tournament will follow USAPA rules and the USA Pickleball Approved Paddle List.

<h3 style="background-color:blue; color:white; padding:8px; border-radius:6px;"><strong>DUPR MATCH REPORTING</strong></h3>

This is a DUPR-sanctioned event - all match results will be submitted to DUPR rankings.
</p>
<h3 style="background-color:blue; color:white; padding:8px; border-radius:6px;"><strong>DUPR GATING</strong></h3>
<p style="margin-top:10px;">
Both partners in a team must be within .5 of the event skill level. Example: To play 3.5 level, both partners must be between at least 3.0.
Playing down is not allowed. Example: If both partners are 3.5 or higher, register for the 3.5 division or higher.

All events will be gated and monitored by tournament staff to ensure that each player is registered in the appropriate skill level. You must meet the DUPR requirements at the time of registration. <em>Tournament staff reserve the right to move a player to the proper skill level if necessary to maintain competitive play and ensure game winners are not penalized.</em>

<li>Tournament Directors reserve the right to combine divisions if necessary. Players will be notified of any merges after registration closes and draws will be posted prior to event start date.</li>
