Welcome to Austin Deaf Pickleball’s second tournament of 2024, featuring six courts set against the stunning backdrop of Austin's skyscrapers!

Everyone is welcome, as long as you're willing to learn how to sign scores. We'll teach you! Join us for an exciting mix of competition and camaraderie!

FORMAT: Mixed Doubles*

STRUCTURE: Round robin and then single elimination**

FEE: $40 + $5 pickleballbrackets.com fee = $45

SKILL: 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0+

AGES: 14-49 and 50+

MINIMUM GAMES: Three

DUPR: Yes, game scores will be added to DUPR. All players are required to have a DUPR account and join the Austin Deaf Pickleball DUPR Club before the tournament.

*MIXED DOUBLES typically means a woman and man pairing up as a team. Non-binary players are welcome to pair up with either gender, or with another non-binary player. Partners can choose each other when you register. If you do not have a partner yet, you can sign up on your own and check out “Players Needing a Partner” for this specific tournament and ask anyone who would be interested in partnering with you. Your partner must register by/on Tuesday, March 19th. Anyone without a partner on Wednesday, March 20th will have their registration withdrawn and refunded (minus a $15 processing fee).

ROUND ROBIN

-Each event will be spit in pools of 3-5 teams for round robin play

-1 game to 11, win by 2

SINGLE ELIMINATION PLAYOFF

*Playoff Qualification

-If 1-2 pool ; Top 3-4 teams advance to playoff

-If 3 pools ; Top 6 teams advance to play off

-If 4+ pools ; Top 1 team from each pool advances to play off

-2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2

Events with fewer than 3 teams will be merged with a neighboring event.

SKILL LEVEL

Be sure to update your player profile on pickleballbrackets.com, as it should not be lower than your DUPR.

Unsure which skill event to sign up for? Use this as a guide:

3.0 Event: DUPR rating of up to 3.24

3.5 Event: DUPR rating between 3.25-3.74

4.0 Event: DUPR rating above 3.75

DUPR ratings will be used to seed pools. The match coordinator reserves the right to move you/your team to another skill level based on your/your partner’s DUPR rating.

If you withdraw more than 2 weeks before the event date, you will be refunded your payment minus a $15 processing fee. Players withdrawing after Tuesday March 19th will not receive a refund, except at the discretion of the event organizers for exceptional circumstances.

We will monitor the weather and communicate with players about all schedule adjustments or cancellations. If events are canceled due to weather, we will refund your payment minus a $15 processing fee.
