Welcome to the 2026 Bluegrass State Games Pickleball Tournament!
Men's and Women's 65+ events will play Friday morning (7/24), subject to sufficient registrations. The remaining Men's and Women's skill level events will play on Saturday (7/25) and may be split by age. If so, the oldest bracket will be 50+. Players can choose to play in both since they are on different days.
Men's and Women's Singles will play on Friday (7/24) beginning at 11:00 am.
Mixed Doubles will play on Sunday (7/26).
We will adjust the size of events as they fill up. If the event you want is full, please join the wait list. We will use the wait lists to determine which events need to be expanded. We will do our best to accommodate all players on the wait lists.
Age splits may be created or eliminated based on number of entries in each division.
We will do our best to NOT combine different skill levels.
Men's, Women's, and Mixed Doubles events will be a Round Robin with a minimum of four teams advancing to a Single Elimination finals. Advancement will be determined by win-loss record. Ties will be resolved according to IFP guidelines: head-to-head record, point differential, head-to-head point differential, score against next highest opponent, etc. If a team withdraws during round robin play without completing all matches, all of their matches will be ignored for the purposes of determining which teams advance from the pool.
The tournament reserves the right to modify event formats and to merge or cancel events as needed if an insufficient number of teams register for a given event.
As with any large tournament, volunteers are essential to things running smoothly. Please consider helping with any of the available volunteer slots.
