Tournament Description

Join us for Tampa's Downtown second annual pickleball tournament at the Mayor's Boom by the Bay on July 4th! Celebrate Independence Day with some friendly competition at Julian B Lane Riverfront Park, co-hosted with the Tampa Pickleball Crew. Grab your paddles and show off your skills while enjoying the festivities. Don't miss out on the fun!

Playing in the pickleball tournament this year isn't the only fun you can have. Enjoy activities for the whole family such as an apple pie bake-off, free concert, family zone activities (including face painting, bounce houses, sack races, corn hole) food trucks, and fireworks.

FORMAT:

Round Robin with top teams making playoffs.

Attendees can also park in Ybor City and take the TECO Streetcar downtown.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING:

Accessible parking is available at the Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park South Parking Lot (located on W Cypress St.), and at all public parking facilities.

Beginning July 1,2023, any individual properly displaying a disabled parking permit or license plate, can park for free for up to four (4) hours in a properly marked on-street metered space. It is NO LONGER a requirement to interact with a pay station or initiate a parking session through any of the mobile apps to receive the free four (4) hour parking session.

All City garages will be available, along with street parking and private lot options. City of Tampa parking garages (including Fort Brooke garage) will cost $10 for the day.
