Tournament Description

Brewster Fall Classic - THE DROP is a charitable event to raise awareness and funds through camaraderie and sport. Neighbors helping neighbors as we DROP FOR A CAUSE. Brewster Recreation and BOOST PB are proud to host for this year’s charitable recipient, the Lower Cape Outreach Council (LCOC). LCOC has been providing food assistance for the last 46 years to Cape Cod residents, as well as, clothing and financial aid for basic essencials such as housing, utilities and transportation for thousands of people in immediate need. Please join us in playing and raising a paddle for LCOC as the need never ends!

Tournament

• Format: Round Robin Tournament featuring 12 events with two age brackets (18-49 & 50 plus) for Women’s, Men’s and Mixed Doubles. Intermediate and Advanced divisions for all brackets

• Minimum four games guaranteed plus medal round for the top four finishers. Round Robin games played to 11 win by 1. Medal round games played to 11 win by 2. Medal round determined by (1) Head-to-Head Wins (2) Points For (3) Points Against

• If an event is filled and you'd like to participate, please be sure to add your team to the waitlist as tournament directors may increase the number of teams per event depending on total tournament registration. Tournament Directors reserve the right to adjust format, brackets and divisions based on number of registrations

• Medals will be awarded in all events

• All registrations will incur a non-refundable software usage fee of $5 for a single event or $10 for multiple events

• Players may register in the (18-49) age bracket if 50 plus, however, you are NOT permitted to register for the 50 plus if you fall into the (18-49) bracket

Additional Information

This is an outdoor event played on 12 courts at the Brewster Community Courts located at 384 Underpass Rd, Brewster, MA 02631.

• For a CONFIRMED spot in an event, all players must be registered and paid. Players without partners or whose partners have not registered and paid within 7 days of their signup, will be moved to the waiting list. Once their partner signs up, they will be moved back into the event - IF THERE ARE SPOTS REMAINING IN THE BRACKET AND THE TOURNAMENT

• All teams MUST sign-up at the skill-level of the higher-rated partner. If you do not have a DUPR rating, please do your best at self evaluating. Remember, honesty is the best policy. All players must set up a FREE DUPR profile to register for play https://www.dupr.com

• It's is strongly recommended to set up your DUPR profile first (free) before setting up pickeballtournaments.com free profile

• Start times are subject to change dependent on registrations, and or, weather conditions

Refund Policy

• This tournament has a no refund policy as it is a charitable event. However, if you are unable to play, you may find a suitable replacement, of like ability, to take your/partners place. Must inform tournament operations no later than 9/23

• If WAITLISTED and CAN NOT get into tournament, you will be FULLY REIMBURSED minus software processing fee

• EVERY attempt will be made to hold the tournament on Saturday, 9/26 or the following rain date Sunday, 9/27. However, if Mother Nature does not abide and tournament can not be held either day, your registration payment will be considered a generous donation and we thank you very much for your understanding and support
