Welcome to the Brooklyn Amateur Showdown at Goodland! We’re thrilled to have you participate in this competitive event. Below are the key details regarding the tournament structure, match formats, and prizes:

Tournament Format:

Pool Play: Each match will be played as a single game to 11 points, with a requirement to win by 2 points. This format ensures a fast-paced, competitive environment as teams battle to secure a spot in the playoffs.

Playoffs: Once pool play concludes, the top teams will advance to the playoffs. Playoff matches will be a single game to 15 points, with a win by 2 points. This gives teams a little more room to strategize while still keeping the intensity high.

Medal Matches: The finals and medal matches will also be played as a single game to 15 points, with a win by 2 points. This is your chance to shine on the biggest stage and fight for the gold, silver, or bronze!

Prizes:

1st Place: $200 ($100 USD per person) in credit for the winning team to be used at Goodland + free competition Goodland t-shirt

2nd Place: Free competition Goodland t-shirt.

Tournament will follow USAPA rules. Paddles that are only UPA approved won't be allowed.

Refunds will be given in full ONLY if the player withdraws from the tournament before registration closes and if the bracket gets cancelled due to lack of players.

Refunds will not be given in any other circumstance.
