TOURNAMENT OPERATIONS
Players will be responsible for keeping score, calling faults, and completing the match results sheet for each match.
All bracket match sheets will be preprinted and provided to the bracket group on a clip board in advance of play beginning. Upon match completion, scoresheet with clipboard will be turned in to the desk operations table or to a court monitor. Please keep buckets (two pickleballs, two pencils) at each designated court before you bring the scoresheet & clipboard back to desk ops. You'll get called back out to play in a timely sequence and next court available.
If there is a rules question or a play disagreement, please stop play and get help from a court monitor or tournament operations desk.
Medals will be presented as soon as possible after a bracket is completed, please be patient. Medals will be awarded next to Desk Operations at the medals banner. Pictures and Gold/Silver matches will be uploaded to the Victory Road Pickleball and Brownwood Pickleball Club Facebook sites for your viewing pleasures.
Attention DUPR Addicts: Applicable to Victory Road Pickleball tournaments, players should be a member of the newly developed DUPR Victory Road Pickleball (VRP) Club for assistance AND after several attempts have been made with opponents to validate match results. While participating at the tournament, a good plan would be for players to upload his/her match results into DUPR soon after match completion. One team member from each team should be present while uploading results and to validate. If several attempts to reach your opponent for validation fails, reach out to the Tournament Director for assistance. We should have a laptop available for you to upload match results also.
***Don’t forget to do a club search in DUPR for Victory Road Pickleball Club and become a member!!!
The schedule for start times for bracket play for each day will be published on the tournament listing on pickleballbrackets.com. Go to the tournament listing and click “Start times”. To see your bracket grouping click the “Players Registered”, then click “Show all players”. Planning to post the actual scheduled start times by Sunday evening.
