SKILL LEVEL
The skill level of players is determined by the data in their Pickleball Brackets profile AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. The priority for determining a player's skill level is their Canadian Tournament Player Rating (CTPR).
If that is lacking, then their DUPR profile tournament rating; and if that is lacking then their Pickleball Brackets self-rating.
When registering for a skill level – Should both players choose to, they may play up ONLY up to a 1.0 rating level from their current CTPR. A team of the same skill level may play up two skill levels in doubles events. For example, a team with both players at the 3.5 level may register for 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5. However, a team with one player 3.5 and the other 4.0 can play at 4.0 or 4.5.
This is a Pickleball Canada sanctioned tournament. All registrants MUST be a Pickleball Canada member in good standing to play in this tournament. Please ensure your Pickleball Canada Membership number and your skill level are up to date in your pickleballbrackets.com profile before registering for this tournament. If you are not a Pickleball Canada member, you can become a member at https://pickleballcanada.org/
Registration is online only at https://pickleballbrackets.com/. Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, agreed to the online waiver, and PAID in full. Online payment via Stripe. Please note: Stripe accepts credit card payments. When the maximum per event is reached based on fully registered/paid teams, others will be added to the waitlist.
Enter as a TEAM and make sure your partner registers and pays within 3days of your registering. If a partner has not completed his/her registration within 3days of the first partner registering, the team will be moved to waitlist. When the identified partner registers, and pays, the team will be moved from the waitlist back to the active list ONLY if there is a slot available. Confirm your partner BEFORE registration to avoid disappointment. If you do not have a partner you can click on “players needed a partner’ to possibly find one.
All players must complete their registration by June 1st, 2025, at 9:00 p.m., to remain on the Active list. COMPLETE means, the waiver is signed, BOTH partners have agreed to the PCO waiver, and registration is paid IN FULL.
