Our age brackets will be 19-35, and 35+, 50+ 60+ 70+, 80+

Registration is by skill level: <3.0, 3.5, 4.0 & 4.5+.

Please note: Groups may be combined or split to facilitate play.

Final Registration Closes Friday, May 12 @ 11:00 A.M. unless tournament capacity is met beforehand.

$85.00 Early Bird Player Registration Fee till April 30, 2023

$95.00 Player Registration Fee May 1 - May 12, 2023

Registration fee includes participation in up to 2 events.

** Please make sure your partner registers as well and is paid within 7 days or you may be placed on a waiting list.

A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player and the age of the younger player. If you do not have a rating and are self rating, please advise tournament directors. Tournament Directors will have final say in self rating.

Weekend Schedule

Friday - Optional Pickleball Clinic Add-On, hosted by Pickleball Rocks.

Practice courts will be available on Friday on a first come basis from 2 PM- 7 PM. Please make an effort to share courts if necessary to ensure everyone gets a chance. A player welcome reception will be held from 5 PM - 7 PM with live entertainment, select food & beverage and door prizes.

Saturday- Men's and Women's Doubles. Check in opens at 7:15 AM- Matches will start at 8 AM. (exact start times for each division will be available Friday morning ) Courts are available for warm up Saturday morning starting at 7:30 AM.

Sunday- Mixed Doubles. Check in to begin at 7:15 AM- Matches will start at 8 AM. (exact start times for each division will be available Saturday morning) Courts are available for warm up Sunday morning starting at 7:30 AM.

THE PLAY SCHEDULE WILL BE RELEASED FRIDAY MORNING FOR SATURDAY MORNING. PLAYERS ARE ASKED TO ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR BRACKETS START TO CHECK IN. SUNDAY PLAY SCHEDULE WILL BE RELEASED SATURDAY AFTERNOON. PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR EMAIL FOR UPDATED TIMES PENDING TEAM DROPS.

UPDATE TO THE TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

Brackets with 3 and/or 4 teams will play 2/3 to 11 w/b 2, single round robin.

Brackets with 5 or more teams will play 1-15 w/b 2, single round robin.

The 2/3 w/b 2 will consist of 2 TO's (1 min. each) per game, 2 min break between games. If it goes to a 3rd game, the end switch is at 6.

The 1-15 w/b 2 will consist of 2 TO's (1 min. each) per game, the end switch is at 8. The end switch is an additional 1 min. TO.

Parking- Free parking is available at Cajun Field. Free daily admission onto the Cajun Heartland State Fair grounds to access the Convention Center and tournament included with player fee. We do ask that non-clear bags are stored in your vehicle and not brought onto the fairgrounds.

Spectators will be allowed to set up chairs inside. No tents can be set up on the courts.

Player Hospitality room provided with complimentary snacks and water. You may bring in a reusable water bottle. Water fountains are also available in the lobby.

Players will receive a complimentary bag including tournament t-shirt, sponsor information and swag at registration check-in.

Please do not bring outside food and beverage. State Fair food vendors will be located on the fair grounds and some will be offering specials to Pickleball participants.

Registration Deadline: May 12 at 11:00 AM or when capacity is met

Cancellations made BEFORE the entry deadline will receive a full refund (less processing fees) provided a valid medical excuse. Registration fees are non-transferable.

Players who withdraw after the entry deadline will NOT receive a refund.
