The Kitchen along with our partners at Joola are proud to present THE BATTLE FOR TEXAS.
The Battle For Texas will take place in three cities, Austin, Dallas, and Houston, with the finals of the OPEN DIVISION taking place in Austin.
There are divisions based on age (open age play and 40+), skill level (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and OPEN), as well as gender doubles and mixed.
All SKILL DIVISIONS (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5) will compete for Joola paddles, bags, and gear which will be awarded to all those who make the podium of their respective divisions.
THE OPEN DIVISION is open to anyone, regardless of age or gender.
The OPEN DIVISION will be competing for cash prizes in each city and the TOP FOUR from each city will move on to the finals to play for $25,000, the largest cash prize in amateur tournament history!
Winners in each city will awarded as follows:
1st Place $2500
2nd Place $1000
3rd Place $500
Reaching the semi-final in each of these cities also ensures an invitation to the Finals.
The Finals of the OPEN DIVISION will be held in Austin in November.
The Finals will be a winner-take-all competition for $25,000, the largest single payout to any amateur event in pickleball history!
This is going to be a party, so come prepared to play some pickleball and have a blast!
