Important information:
Please take the time to understand the format of each event you enter. You can play up, but you cannot play down a grade unless sanctioned by the tournament director. Event categories are clear when registering. If you are entering your first tournament, the Social (under 3.5) events are for you
All events will be round robin followed by a single elimination round. We aim to give players a minimum of 4 games per event. All scores will be entered into DUPR
Pickleball Brackets and DUPR may be used to check ratings of players for bracket eligibility, and where appropriate, the tournament director may undertake moderation of entries in conjunction with other tournament directors and a player’s home club
You do not need a DUPR rating to enter a Social (under 3.5) event and we encourage you to do so, you will gain a rating by participating. You will need to register with DUPR and link your DUPR membership to your Pickleball Brackets membership
The tournament director can modify event formats and move players as needed depending on registrations. This may include combining the events if insufficient registrations for a particular division in a particular event are received, moving players who the tournament team determine have clearly entered the wrong division, and reseeding players advancing from the round robin to the playoffs before the single elimination draw is finalised
