Welcome to the Capital City Classic hosted by The Frankfort Country Club! Key sponsors include Sideout Pickleball and Diadem.
Please join us the weekend of October 19th – 20th for the 1st Capital City Classic. This promises to be a great event, playing on our 12 outdoor courts – 6 permanent and 6 temporary.
Teams must register and pay as individuals.
All registrations must be completed via pickleballbrackets.com via credit/debit card.
Events:
Saturday: Men's/Women's Doubles (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0)
Sunday: Mixed Doubles (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0)
***A max of 12 entries per Doubles event with a waitlist starting once the event is filled.
FORMAT:
All events are planned to be a Round Robin format with 6 teams per pool; 2 pools per skill division ( 5 games minimum). The top 4 teams advance to medals rounds (2 rounds; 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. Winners play Rd 2 for gold/silver. Losers play for bronze). This format is subject to change based on entries.
Round Robin: Play to 11 win by 2
Medal Bracket: Play to 15 win by 2
Prizes will be awarded to Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal winners.
Cash Prize for Gold winners in 5.0 Divisions (Wms Doubles, Mens Doubles, & Mixed Doubles)
