80% of the event entry fees for the 4.0 and 4.5-5.5 BRACKETS ($32 per player for these divisions).
Our main goal with this pickleball tournament is efficient quick tournaments, where we value your time. You should most of the time be playing pickleball until you are done, instead of waiting around. Our tournaments value your time and quality!
Right now we have not committed to start times for each event. We will close registration several days before the tournament starts. We will then see how many players are in each division and will optimally assign start times so we are efficient with your time on the courts.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Progressive Double Elimination
This tournament format will be a Traditional Ultimate Double Elimination Format. Where you will play in both the winners and losers bracket 2 out of 3 games to 11 win by 2. Singles and Mixers will both finish on their respective days. At many PPA events the biggest pro tournament series they will do a progressive draw where players will play multiple matches for their divisions on ongoing days. We are going to do that for our Gender and Mixed Doubles.
Both Gender and Mixed Doubles will start on August 30th. We will finish the first half of both divisions on the 30th and will finish the back half on the 31st. Some teams may be done on the 30th if they lose two times, before the second half of the bracket begins.
Gender doubles will start in the morning on both days, Mixed Doubles will start in the afternoon on both days. Ideally a majority of the players would be playing both Gender and Mixed Doubles on these days.

This is a DUPR Rated tournament. All matches will be reported to DUPR to add to your rating. If you don't have a rating, you will have one after this tournament. Please visit mydupr.com to make a free account. Then under the play tab search for Casa. You then will join our club.
We will be moderating sandbagging for this tournament. The way ratings work is if you are playing in the 3.0 event, your rating should ideally be a 3.0-3.49. If your rating was 3.50 then you should play in the 3.5 bracket. Please sign up in the appropriate bracket. When registration closes on August 22nd, on August 23rd we will be moving players to their appropriate divisions for the tournament (we will let you know if you need to move). We will use ratings August 23rd to determine sandbagging, after August 23rd if a team's rating goes up or down it does not mean they are sandbagging. We will not be giving refunds if a team intentionally or unintentionally tried to sandbag and are being moved to their correct division.
