The Concord Carlisle High School Tennis Teams will be hosting the 2021 Spring Classic Pickleball Tournament on Saturday May 22th from 8:30am - 5:00pm at the Concord Carlisle High School Tennis Courts (Outside). All proceeds from this tournament will go to support the CCHS Tennis Team's new Facilities Upgrade Project Phase 1 (2021) to include team benches, a scoreboard, and a dedicated storage area. Phase 2 (2022) will include new spectator seating, and a state of the art lighting system.
This is a recreational tournament designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced Pickleball playing enthusiasts alike. All are welcome. We will have three (3) general experience level pools for each Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Coed Doubles brackets - each with their own start time:
Saturday, May 22th - (8:30am- 11:00pm) - Men's Doubles (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
Saturday, May 22th - (11:00pm - 2:00pm) - Women's Doubles (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
Saturday, May 22th - (2:00pm - 5:00pm) COED Doubles (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
Skill Levels:
Beginner/Recreational Level -want to play but not overly competitive.
Intermediate Level - proficient racquet sport ability and a love to compete for fun.
Advanced - well, you know who you are!
COED Teams can be in any configuration; Mixed, Men and Women teams. All teams will compete together in their respective skill levels.
Singles are welcome as well. We have the ability to match singles together, so sign up and we will match you with an appropriate player!
In addition, a practice/tutorial court will be set up for those of you who are new to the sport and would like to learn and participate. Come early and we will teach you how to play.
This will be Round Robin tournament with a guarantee four (4) games configuration. Games will be to eleven (11) win be two (2). A championship round and prizes will be awarded to the top teams in all Brackets.
Brackets will be in a Round Robin format and will be broken into pools with top finishers in each pool advancing to a Single Elimination Playoff to determine medals.
Necessary changes to brackets and formats will be at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
