TOURNAMENT Rescheduled: NEW DATE SATURDAY MAY 6TH, 2023
The Concord Carlisle High School (CCHS) Tennis Teams will host the 2023 Spring Classic Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, April 29 from 8:30am - 5:00pm at the CCHS Tennis Courts (outside). All proceeds will directly support both the boy’s and girl’s teams.
The Spring Classic is a recreational tournament designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced pickleball enthusiasts alike. All are welcome. We will have multiple skill-level pools within each of the doubles brackets (Men's, Women's, and Coed/Open)—each with their own start time:
Men's Doubles (Intermediate, Advanced): 8:30am - 11:00am
Women's Doubles (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced): 11:30am - 2:00pm
Coed/Open Doubles (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced): 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Skill Levels:
- Beginner: want to play but somewhat new to pickleball
- Intermediate: proficient racquet sport ability and love to compete for fun
- Advanced: well, you know who you are!
In the Coed bracket, teams can be in any configuration i.e. Mixed, Men, and Women.
Single players are also welcome. We have the ability to match singles together, so sign up and we will match you with an appropriate-level player!
In addition, a practice/tutorial court will be set up for those who are new to pickleball and would like to learn and participate. Come early, and we will teach you how to play.
Paddles will be supplied for those who need equipment. Please wear sneakers (preferably court shoes) and bring your own water bottle (refillable at the CCHS courts).
This will be Round Robin tournament with a guaranteed four (4) games configuration. Games will be to eleven (11) points, win by two (2). A championship round and prizes will be awarded to the top teams in all brackets.
Brackets will be in a Round Robin format and will be broken into skill-level based pools—with top finishers in each pool advancing to a Single Elimination Playoff to determine medals.
Necessary changes to brackets and formats will be at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
