REGISTRATION PERIOD: From April 7 to June 18, 2025

COMPETITION FORMAT & SCORING SYSTEM

QUALIFYING ROUND:
Each match is 1 game to 11 points.
Switch sides at 6 points.
If the score reaches 10-10, a team must win by 2 points.
Maximum point cap: 15 points.

PLAYOFF ROUND:
Same format as qualifying:
1 game to 11 points, switch sides at 6.
Win by 2 points if tied at 10-10.
Maximum point cap: 15 points.

QUARTER-FINALS:
1 game to 11 points, switch sides at 6.
Win by 2 if tied 10-10.
Maximum point cap: 15 points.

SEMI-FINALS:
1 game to 15 points.
Switch sides at 8 points.
If score reaches 14-14, a team must win by 2.
Maximum point cap: 18 points.

FINALS:
Best of 3 games, each game to 15 points.
First team to reach 15 points wins that game.
Teams switch sides after each game.

The organizing committee will announce the winners and present the awards on the same day the tournament concludes.

TOURNAMENT RULES

* PPA rules will be applied.

* Serves that touch the net but land in the correct service box are valid.

* Each team is allowed per match:

* 1 emergency medical timeout (5 minutes)

* 1 standard timeout (2 minute)

* All paddles used must be approved for competition.

PRIZES:

* Trophies for 1st and 2nd place in each competition category

* Cash prizes:

* $1,500 AUD for 1st place team

* $1000 AUD for 2nd place team
